Tasting Notes
Floral notes present on the nose, as well as hints of yellow fruit such as apple, peach and candied orange. A full bodied white with a strong presence of minerality, balanced and intense acidity, and a white-pepper finish (a trademark of this style of wine).
Food Pairings
Gruner Veltliner is a very food friendly wine, especially for a white wine. Goes well with fish, seafood and meat dishes (even game meats). Think creamy pastas and white pizzas. Also great with charcuterie.
