Description
The Ribolla Gialla is a very old locally developed wine, recognized since 1300 is one of the best wines of Friui, especially if produced at Rosazzo, it has always been the estate’s Standrd Bearer. Perusini’s Ribolla, is in fact, the result of a long labour in clonal selection which has raised beyond measure the characteristic of this wine. Its subtle and elegant aroma, and its marked freshness of taste make it deal as an aperitive or to be drunk with fish.
This ancient native vine, recognised since 1300 as one of the best Friulian wines, particulary when produced in Rosazzo, has always been rapresentative for the company’s white wines. The Perusini Ribolla is actually the result of a lengthy clonal selection process, which has broght out the best of this wine.

Vinification:
The grapes were harvested by hand and gently pressed in pneumatic press and cooled during the process with dry ice. The vinification took place in modern stainless steel tanks with the temperature of the fermentation controlled below 20° C. For the following 6 months the wine was left in contact with the fine lees. The wine has not gone through malolactic fermentation.
