Description
Organic and biodynamic-practicing, these Garnacha grapes see a 40-60 day maceration with natural yeasts. High elevation (900-1200m) and granite soil result in a lively, elegant wine. Deep and resonant fruit flavours of blackberry and ripe cherry mingle with juicy acidity and firm tannic structure.
Daniel Landi and Fermando Garcia, friends since college, met in the Sierra de Gredos. Fermando at Bodegas Marañones, and Dani at his family’s estate, Bodegas Jimenez-Landi. Over time they began purchasing and leasing the best sites they could find, creating their own project, Comando G in 2008.
